A company figured out a legal way for women to feel topless in public.
Robyn Graves and Michelle Lytle, created the Ta Ta Top, giving the convincing illusion of toplessness.
The bras come in its original nude tone as well as medium and dark shades of skin. They cost $28 – and $5 of every sale goes toward breast cancer research.
Graves and Lytle wrote on their website that their goal was to de-sexualize the nipple. The only emotion that comes from seeing breasts is that you are conditioned to think they are something special, something to be protected and kept hidden, they wrote.
The women said that their project was inspired by the Free The Nipple movement.
