Emergency workers have gone beyond their call of duty when they were called to treat an elderly man.
Emergency workers were called to assist 61-year-old Tilman Williams, after he fell in his apartment in Michigan.
Emergency medical services said that his blood pressure was very high and asked what medications he was taking. In an attempt to locate the medication, a paramedic entered Tilman’s unlocked bedroom.
Once Inside, the EMS worker saw “numerous images of what appeared to be child pornography on the walls of the room,” according to a criminal complaint.
Some of the illicit photos which were framed showed two young girls exposing their genitals. Another photo showed a young girl having sex with an adult man.
When Williams realized that paramedic saw the photos, he asked “how much trouble it would be,” a federal agent said.
The EMS worker reported the incident to police, who reviewed a search warrant for Tilman’s home.
Officials seized poster size child pornography photos along with some framed and unframed pornography photographs. Authorities allegedly also found nude Barbie dolls some of which were arranged in sexual positions.
A federal judge ruled that Williams was a danger to the community and ordered him held without bail before trial.
