(Scroll down for video) Several tourists said that they are traumatized after seeing a crocodile biting the hand of a zoo keeper during a feeding show.
The three and a half meter (11.5 feet) long crocodile has attacked its keeper, dragging him into the water at the zoo in Australia.
Trent Burton was bitten in the hand in front of horrified spectators at the Shoalhaven Zoo in Nowra, located 100 kilometers (62 miles) south of Sydney. Witnesses said that the male crocodile pulled Burton to the ground and then took him to a pond.
Burton was about to feed the crocodile meat, but it apparently had no patience to wait. Burton tried to get the food out of its mouth, but the crocodile just grabbed his hand and pulled him to the water.
Luckily, before being pulled underwater, Burton managed to break free. He was taken to a hospital with bites on both hands, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Another witness said that it was the scariest thing she has seen in her life. The owner of the zoo said that Burton, 30, worked with crocodiles for 10 years, and has fed John the crocodile daily.
