Muslims seen on video attempting to kidnap Bezeq telephone company employee

(Scroll down for video) A Bezeq telephone company employee said that he is lucky to be alive after escaping from a group of Muslim, who unsuccessfully tried to kidnap him.

The West Bank Region Police Department said that the kidnapping attempt occurred on Wednesday, just before 12:00 p.m.

According to surveillance video, the Bezeq technician Yaniv Azoury, came under attack by masked men as he left a worksite. According to a complaint filed with the Police, the technician stopped at the side of a road near the settlement of Ma’ale Yisrael, in order repair a malfunctioning telephone line.

After a few minutes, a silver car blocked his path and two men approached him, holding knives in their hands. The technician quickly ran into his car and managed to escape.

The Israeli military and police officers began searching the area for the vehicle and the suspects, who fled to the nearby Palestinian town of Baidoa.
