(Scroll down for video) Numerous tourists in Jerusalem spoke about how they feel safe and protected by the Israeli Army, while coming under rocket attack, according to a video uploaded by the Tazpit News Agency.

On Thursday, several rockets from Gaza hit Jerusalem.

However, tourists in Israel’s capital seemed to go about their daily activities. One female tourist said that she is not afraid, but admitted that it must be terrible for Israelis to live under constant rocket fire.

A woman from Mexico said: “We came from Mexico, and at first, we were very frightened. A short while ago, we heard the sirens go off, and our children were very scared. However, we know that we are in a safe country because the police are guarding us wherever we go.”

“It is not just that the Arabs are attacking civilians, they are launching missiles at small children who are scared. There are good people here who want peace and don’t want any problems,” she added.

“We are proud of the way Israel has reacted to the rocket fire, and to the way it had protected us and all of the people, those who live here and those who don’t,” she concluded.

A woman from Hungary said: “I never heard missiles before, and when I heard them it frightened me. However, now I feel calm. I feel calm because I know that the Israeli technology is very advanced.”

A man from New York said: “I feel very safe here. I am under the protection of the great IDF.”
