2 Muslims punch former Israel soldier living in Australia in the face (video)

(Scroll down for video) A former Israel soldier living in Australia, said that he was shocked to be attacked by two Muslim men, according to a video uploaded to the Internet.

28-year-old Zachary Gomo, was attacked while walking on a quiet street, and was left with a slash through his shirt, his face swollen and covered in scratches.

Gomo was walking on Parnell Street in Elsternwick, when he was ambushed by the two men. He was wearing an Israel Defense Forces shirt he received during his two years in service.

Gomo said that he was on his way to his girlfriend’s house when he noticed the two men following him. The street was very dark and seemingly empty of people.

Suddenly, both jumped on me and started punching and shouting in Arabic. The kept screaming “Jew dog” and “Allahu Akbar.”

Luckily, Gomo was able to fight off his attackers, returning to his girlfriend’s house. Later, he filed a police report. Gomo described his attackers as between the ages of 18 and 20, slim and of Middle Eastern appearance.

Caulfield Police Sergeant Peter Burton confirmed that the incident had occurred. “There is an active investigation going on right now,” he said.

So far, no arrests have been made.
