(Scroll down for video) Tessa Evans is an adorable baby girl, who was born with a rare condition, she does not have a nose.
Evans, who is now 17 months old, has complete congenital arhinia, which is so rare that there are only 47 other cases documented in medical literature.
The condition means that Evans has no sense of smell. However, she can cough sneeze and catch a cold.
Despite her difficulties, Evans always has a smile on her face, her mother Grainne said.
Parents Nathan and Grainne Evans of the United Kingdom, decided to share their story to bring awareness to this rare condition.
“Everyone who meets her instantly falls for her. We just want her to inspire others as she inspires us,” the mother said.
“I think she will help people see that ‘different’ can be beautiful too,” father Nathan, 32, said.
He added: “Tessa is no longer a silent baby, thanks to a special speaking valve. She runs around and plays outside and blows kisses.”
She will soon begin treatment at the Great Ormond Street Hospital. The procedure is to design a nose shaped mold, which will be inserted in place of a nose.
Her “nose” will be replaced by a larger one every two years as she grows.
