(Scroll down for video) A violent fight broke out between a Miami police officer and a police lieutenant at a Florida gas station, a video uploaded to the Internet showed.

Now, the Miami Police Department is investigating the embarrassing brawl between two of their own after a traffic stop degenerated into a wrestling match on Flagler Street.

The fight between Officer Marcel Jackson and Lt. David Ramras was caught on video by Jackson’s personal dashcam. The video shows Jackson driving around Miami and pulling over a silver Chevrolet sedan for speeding.

He approached the car, and after about 30 seconds, the man behind the wheel of the car opened the door and tried to leave.

When the door opened, Jackson extended his arms and pushed the driver back to the car. The two men fought, and then dropped to the ground.

Almost immediately, Miami officers in three patrol cars arrived and tried to end the fight. The two men involved in the incident have been relieved of their posts for now.

The internal police investigation has now been handed over to the State Attorney’s Office, which will decide whether to press charges.
