(Scroll down for video) Police are looking to arrest a crossdresser on charges of carjacking after being seen throwing a taxi driver out from his car and driving off, police in Illinois said.

The Chicago Police Department said that the taxi driver was robbed of his personal belongings and his taxi on Saturday, by a strong armed thief suspected of being a transvestite.

The incident began when the 55-year-old driver picked up the suspect around 6:00 a.m., on North Halsted Street and Belmont Avenue.

The victim told police that the passenger was 6 feet tall, and weighing about 190 pounds. The passenger was probably a man dressed in women’s clothes, and wore a black wig.

When the passenger asked the driver to stop, he allegedly pushed the driver to the ground and robbed the driver of his personal items.

The suspect drove off in the taxi, which was later found nearby, police said. So far, no arrests have been made.
