(Scroll down for video) Yahoo was slapped with a lawsuit after a female executive was accused of sexually harassing a female employee, according to court documents filed in California.
Maria Zhang of Yahoo Mobile, has been sued by Nan Shi, who worked as a senior software engineer, according to the complaint filed with the Superior Court of Santa Clara in San Jose.
Zhang allegedly coerced Shi, into having oral sex with her repeatedly in Sunnyvale. In exchange, she was promised a bright future at Yahoo.
Shi is seeking monetary and punitive damages. The lawsuit also named Yahoo as a defendant.
The lawsuit alleges that personnel of the company refused to carry out an investigation when Shi complained about her supervisor.
Instead, Shi was put on unpaid leave and eventually fired from her position in the company. Yahoo denied all the allegations.
