Police in Kentucky, received a surprise delivery of pizza after arresting a man for theft and public drunkenness.

29-year-old Michael Harp, was arrested after shoplifting $36 worth of beer from a convenience store, according to Corbin Police Officer Rob Jones.

Harp asked permission to make a call on his cell phone while being booked into the police station.

A short time later, a Domino’s pizza delivery driver showed up with five pizza pies for officer Coy Wilson, who arrested Harp.

Officers began investigating as to who ordered the pizza and linked the call to Harp by tracking his cell phone number.

Harp denies that he ordered the pies and said that “about 10 people used his phone.”

Harp is now facing additional charges, including identity theft, theft by deception, and impersonating a police officer.
