A man was killed while testing a bullet proof vest, according to police in Maryland.
The victim’s close friend is facing murder charges for pulling the trigger.
Baltimore Police arrested 30-year-old Marcos Ramiro, after accidentally shooting his friend while testing the bulletproof vest.
The entire incident was recorded by a third person. The video shows how 28-year-old Darnell Mitchell, was fatally shot on Wednesday night.
In this video, Mitchell boasts that he is about to take a “deuce deuce in the chest” before being hit with a .22 caliber gun.
Ramiro, who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, was standing in front of Mitchell and shot the gun one time. However, he struck Mitchell just above the bullet proof vest.
Ramiro took Mitchell to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Ramiro is in custody on charges of manslaughter and weapons violations.
Prosecutor Attorney David Chiu, said that the defendant had “reckless disregard for human life and safety” and is an “extreme” threat to public safety. Mitchell is being held without bail.
