(Scroll down for video) A teacher was horrified when a nude photo of him was sent to his entire contact list.
While many criminals use the defense that their accounts had been hacked and someone else was responsible for sending a threatening email or nude photo, this time it turned out to be true.
Richard Rosa, a science teacher at a high school in Pasadena, California, was shocked to learn that nude photos of him were sent from his work email.
Four selfies of Rosa were sent to about 287 people with the title “Enjoy.” The email was sent to students, colleagues and others in the community.
Investigators believe that Rosa’s email was hacked and are now investigating to find the person who sent it.
“Revenge Porn” is illegal in California. One can face a fine and misdemeanor conviction for distributing sexually explicit photos that belonged to another person.
The Superintendent of the Pasadena Unified School District sent an email with an apology to people who received the nude photos.
He also said that Rosa will continue teaching at the school.
