Labor pains couldn’t stop one woman of the United Kingdom, from walking her sister down the aisle.
29-year-old Lucy Morris, walked her sister down the aisle despite having been in labor for hours.
Morris woke up in the morning of the big day with contractions. She put on a brave face and did not tell the bride, Emma Rotherham, that she was about to give birth.
However, later in the day, her cramps became more intense, but she dragged her way down the aisle and even posed for pictures afterwards.
After the reception, her contractions were so painful that she had to be taken to a hospital, where she gave birth to baby Izzy.
Morris said that she did not want to miss her sister’s big moment. Morris was the leading bridesmaid in the wedding of her 26-year-old sister.
She married 27-year-old Dan Bowker. The reception took place at the Holiday Inn hotel in Doncaster. The new mother and baby are doing fine.
