(Scroll down for video) A teen boy told police officers that he robbed a bank because he wanted to avoid going to jail, police in Wisconsin said.
19-year-old Jesse G. Sweeter of 831 North Main Street, Rice Lake, told police that he robbed the bank to get the money to pay his court fees.
Sweeter was arrested after robbing the Sterling Bank in Rice Lake. Police found a bag containing money and a gun on Sweeter.
Two other men living at the same address as Sweeter, 22-year-old Kyle W. Langner, and 25-year-old Ricky D. White, were also arrested that day.
Langner was accused of armed robbery at three convenience stores in Eau Claire. His bail was set at $50,000 cash, and was ordered to have no contact with Sweeter and White.>
