(Scroll down for video) The Jewish community in Miami Beach, Florida, is seeing an increase in hate crimes over the last few days, police said.
Police are investigating the anti-Semitic messages found on Monday morning, scrawled at the Torah V’emunah Synagogue located at 1000 NE 175 Street.
Mark Rosenberg and Yona Lunger of the North Miami Beach Shmira, were on patrol in the neighborhood when they discovered the graffiti around 1:00 a.m.
Two swastikas and the word Hamas, were painted in red outside the main entrance of the synagogue. This incident follows another hate crime incident where 2 cars were damaged.
On Saturday, the word Hamas was spray painted on two vehicles owned by Jewish. Police responded to the scene and launched an investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made.
