(Scroll down for video) A man was furious when he found out that his wife was cheating on him and decided to commit murder suicide.

Two people have died and one remains hospitalized in Kentucky, after the man discovered that his wife was cheating on him.

35-year-old Shaun Hiles, rammed into the vehicle of his wife’s new boyfriend, running him off the road.

He then shot the man and his estranged wife before turning the gun on himself.

The victims were identified as Nicole Hiles, 33, and 32-year-old Larry Whiteker. The incident took place about 11:00 p.m.

Shaun shot himself twice, once in the stomach and once in his chest, but his suicide attempt failed and he was airlifted to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where he underwent emergency surgery.

Sheriff Chuck Dills of Grant County, said that Nicole visited the police station earlier in the day, and requested an emergency restraining order against Shaun, because he was harassing her.

However, before a judge signed the order she was dead.

Before killing his estranged wife and her boyfriend, Shaun posted on Facebook, about his wife’s infidelity.

“The moment when you check your cell phone bills and you catch your wife cheating on you, priceless,” he wrote.
The next day he wrote: “The war has begun!”

If he survives, Shaun will be charged with two counts of murder.
