A great niece of Walt Disney announced this week, that she is joining the boycott movement of Israel.
54-year-old Abigail Disney, had invested $12 million in the Israeli company Ahava.
Disney claimed that Jews are stealing minerals from Palestinians of the West Bank.
Disney believes that the company violates both the 1970 Convention of The Hague and the Geneva Convention, by exploiting natural resources of occupied territories.
Disney is not actually withdrawing her investment.
Instead, she will donate the profits and funds equivalent to the value of her shares in the Dead Sea minerals cosmetics firm Ahava, to groups working to end this alleged illegal exploitation.
Palestinians however, are not happy with the boycott movement, saying that Israeli firms operating in the West Bank employ thousands of Arabs.
Sodastream, an Israeli company located in the West Bank, employs 950 Arabs, including 450 Arab Israeli citizens and 500 Palestinians.
