(Scroll down for video) A pregnant teen decided to kill her mother because she demanded an abortion, police in Indiana said.

Gary Police said that 54-year-old DeCarol Deloney-Cain, was killed by her 17-year-old daughter Alyssa Barrett, and her boyfriend, 18-year-old DeMarius McGriggs, after their relationship deteriorated.

The problems escalated when the teenager became pregnant earlier this summer.

Barrett, who was arrested and charged with murder and robbery resulting in bodily injury in the death of her mother, often spoke about robbing and killing her mother.

McGriggs of Merrillville, was charged with murder earlier this month.

McGriggs admitted to police that he killed Deloney-Cain after an argument because she wanted her daughter to abort his baby.

Deloney-Cain suffered multiple stab wounds and a wound in the head. She was found wrapped in plastic garbage bags with a pillowcase over her head in the trunk of her car.

McGriggs told investigators that he put the pillow over her head so he would not have to look at her. Deloney-Cain of Crown Point, was a flight attendant for United Airlines.

Gary Police discovered her red Toyota on a vacant street east of Martin Luther King Drive four days after she was supposed to leave on a flight to China.

Both Barrett and McGriggs are being held without bail.
