The rabbi of a synagogue in the United Kingdom, said that he feels “less safe” after a “child murderers” letter was posted on his synagogue’s door.

26-year-old Rabbi Samuel Landau, arrived at his synagogue on Uxbridge Road, to find the note written in black capital letters on white paper posted to the front door.

“I think it’s disturbing,” Landau said.

“I’m disappointed that society is not able to process and analyze things and paint everyone with the same brush. I feel less safe,” he added.

Kingston Police were called to reports of offensive material at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

“We take all allegations of crimes very seriously. As a result of this matter we will investigate the incident thoroughly. The evidence has been secured for forensic examination that hopefully will lead us to the identity of the perpetrator,” a police spokesperson said.

“When I walk down the road in Kingston, several people have yelled at me from their cars, so this does not seem out of place,” Landau said.

So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the crime.
