Police are looking to arrest a man on charges of sexual assault after allegedly groping a Crown Heights girl, police in New York said.
Brooklyn Police on Tuesday, asked for the public’s help to identify the man, who claimed to have a gun before he molested the 13-year-old girl.
The incident unfolded around 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday, when the man approached the girl at the corner of Eastern Parkway and Utica Avenue, and tried to talk to her.
The girl rejected his advances. The girl entered a nearby store and the suspect followed her. The suspect pulled her out of the store and acted as if he had a gun.
That is when he began to grope her. The victim ran into the store and took a picture of the suspect with her cell phone. Police said that an employee removed the man from the store.
The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 30, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds.
