(Scroll down for video) A devastated teenager turned in her father to police after he shot her boyfriend to death.
18-year-old Lisa Kepler, the daughter of two police officers in Tulsa, Oklahoma, turned in her parents to police.
Kepler said that her father shot her boyfriend, 19-year-old Jeremy Lake, and then shot at her as she crouched behind a bush. A bullet hit her boyfriend’s younger brother in the hand.
Lake died of the gunshot wounds in front of his devastated mother, girlfriend, friends and other family members.
Kepler’s mother, who is also a police officer, was in the passenger seat when her father shot at them, Lisa Kepler told police.
Lisa Kepler said she met the 19-year-old man one week before the incident, when her parents threw her out of their home. She then moved in with Lake and his aunt, days before he was killed.
Now, Shannon and Gina Kepler, both 24 year veterans of the Tulsa Police Department, were arrested and suspended with pay.
Shannon Kepler, 54, was charged with first-degree murder and shooting with intent to kill. Gina Kepler, 48, is accused of being an accessory to murder.
