Two white students have caused controversy after they painted their faces black.
The university students are now facing disciplinary action after taking photos of themselves disguised as South African black maids.
The girls, who are studying at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, smeared their faces with brown paint and placed pillows up their skirts in an attempt to make their backsides look bigger.
The women reportedly attended a party looking this way, and images of them were uploaded onto the social media sites.
After backlash from locals, the university in the Gauteng Province, has suspended the girls for a few days.
The photos, which has since gone viral, show the girls posing in a room while wearing clothes typically associated with domestic workers.
Their smiles seem to suggest that they think their costumes are funny.
The South African Students Congress (Sasco) accused white people and the university of teaching its youth to be disrespectful to black people.
