Church members were horrified to learn about the arrest and accusations against one of their leaders.

The head of a Baptist center in Missouri, is accused of trying to meet with a dog owner to have sex with a dog.

56-year-old Jerald Hill of Boone County, was arrested after posting an advertisement on Craigslist, looking for an owner who would allow him to engage in sex acts with a dog.

A Craigslist viewer flagged the advertisement and the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task Force were alerted.

A detective exchanged emails with Hill on the pretext of offering a dog that Hill could have sex with, and they agreed to meet at a park.

Once he reached the location, Hill was arrested for attempted unlawful sex with an animal and attempted animal abuse.

Hill is president and CEO of the Windermere Baptist Conference Center. Church leaders said that they are planning to appoint a new CEO.

Hill was released from the Boone County Jail after posting $1,000 bail.
