(Scroll down for video) Police officers were shocked to find a mouse in the pocket of a beer thief, police in Oregon said.
Washington County Police said that they arrested 21-year-old John Jacobson of Portland, for allegedly swiping a case of beer from a distributor outside a convenience store early Thursday.
When he was searched by police officers, they found that he had his pet mouse in his pocket. The incident unfolded at 14140 SW Butner Road, when the distributor noticed Jacobson grab the case of beer.
The distributor confronted the suspect, who allegedly threw the case in his face and fled. The distributor was not injured. Police officers who arrived at the scene, found Jacobson hiding in some bushes.
Police had to call Jacobson’s parents to come and pick up the mouse. He was booked into the Washington County Jail on two counts of theft and one count of robbery.
His bond was set at $20,000.
