Two Muslim teens were arrested on charges of assault after they allegedly beat an ultra-Orthodox Jewish teen, who was on his way home from a synagogue, Israel Police said.

The Tel Aviv Police Department said that they arrested the two Muslim teens on Monday, after they were accused of assaulting the Jewish teen in Yafo.

According to police, on Saturday night, the ultra-Orthodox Jewish teen left his synagogue, and while he was walking home he was attacked.

Police said that they are still searching for a third suspect. The Jewish boy told investigators that the three Muslim teens approached, cursed, shoved, spit and beat him.

They also stole his hat, which he wears as a religious symbol. Police collected security camera footage from the neighborhood and they were able to identify the attackers.

Police also found the boy’s hat. During questions, the Muslim teens admitted to the charges, and claimed that they were drunk at the time of the attack.
