(Scroll down for video) A newly engaged woman was left devastated after the love of her life died just hours after proposing to her.
What 36-year-old Brad Parker called the “happiest day of his life,” turned tragic when he fell to his death while mountain climbing.
Parker and his girlfriend Jainee Dial, climbed the summit of Cathedral Peak, where he proposed, and she said “yes.”
Parker who is a professional climber, then went to the Matthes Crest in Tuolumne Meadows, where he was climbing alone.
Climbers called for help when they saw him fall from the granite crest, which reaches 500 feet tall. Park rangers found his body.
Parker of Sebastopol, was a yoga instructor, an experienced mountain climber, surfer and mountain biker. May he rest in peace.
