(Scroll down for video) The Israeli military is continuing with targeted killings of Hamas leaders.
In the latest attack, the Israel Air Force fired a missile at the Hamas Finance Minister, ripping him and a pile of $100 bills to shreds, a video uploaded to the Internet showed.
The missile struck the car with which Muhammad al-Ghoul was traveling.
The missile attack was the latest in a series of recent Israeli airstrikes on the basis of accurate intelligence on the movements of some Hamas operatives that have emerged from their bunkers as the heaviest fighting has subsided.
Last week, the air strikes killed three senior commanders of Hamas in Rafah, and Israel attempted to assassinate Mohammed Deif, the head of the military wing of Hamas, whose fate remains unknown.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged residents in Gaza “to evacuate any building that Hamas is using to carry out terrorist activities.”
“Every place where terror is planned is a target. In recent days, we have shown that there is no immunity for those who shoot at the citizens of Israel,” Netanyahu added.
