Police are looking to arrest a person, who is behind a racial attack on a post office in Long Island, police in New York said.
The New York Police Department urged the public to come forward with information that will help them catch the person who spray painted a swastika and a racist slogan on a United States Postal Service location.
Nassau County Police said that the incident occurred sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday in the Roosevelt neighborhood.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1800 244 8477. Earlier this month, a woman of North Carolina, was horrified to find a swastika on her McDonald’s chicken sandwich.
Charleigh Matice of Carteret County, made the shocking discovery while eating her chicken sandwich she bought at the drive-thru.
Matice found the swastika etched in butter after she wanted to put mayonnaise on her sandwich. Matice said that she could not believe anyone could do such a thing.
Her grandfather had fought in World War Two. She said that the swastika really offended her. Matice went back to the restaurant and employees offered her a replacement sandwich.
Matice rejected the sandwich and asked for a refund.
