A teen was arrested, charged and convicted of assault after running a neo-Nazi forum, prosecutors in Austria said.

Now, the 18-year-old man was sentenced to serve one year in jail.

The Salzburg Regional Court ruled that the defendant must serve at least one month of his sentence and cannot appeal the decision.

The defendant was also ordered to be on probation and will have to undergo psychotherapy as part of his sentence. He was also convicted of serious commercial fraud.

According to the police investigation, the boy had been running a forum called “National Resistance and true National Socialist.”

He shared numerous videos and audio files portraying Nazism in a positive light. In addition, he sprayed “Jews out” and a swastika on a local elementary school.

He was also accused of using the chat forum for fraudulent purposes. He offered Nazi paraphernalia such as badges and coats for sale, even though he did not possess any elements.
