A couple wanted a baby and thought it was a good idea to use an underage girl to be their surrogate mom.
After being unable to conceive a baby, the couple of Alabama, decided to have an underage family member to be their surrogate mom.
29-year-old Jeremy Swann, and his wife Amanda Swann, 28, were arrested by police in Jones, and charged with rape.
District Attorney Michael Jackson said that the man’s mother, Dianna Swann, 57, was also arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor for allegedly knowing what was going on and doing nothing.
Court records show that Amanda asked the mentally disabled girl to have sex with her husband so she could get pregnant and have a child for them.
A judge set their bonds at $500,000.
The girl, whose age was not disclosed, did not become pregnant after sleeping with Jeremy several times, according to investigators.
