A Jewish couple was beaten in Manhattan, by a group of pro-Hamas thugs who were carrying Palestinian flags, police in New York said.
The Jewish man and his wife were walking in the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Monday night before being attacked.
The group fled in cars with Palestinian flags.
Two cars and several motorcycles stopped near the couple at 63rd Street and Third Avenue just after 8:00 p.m., and the assailants began shouting anti-Semitic slurs.
One of the thugs threw a water bottle that hit the 27-year-old woman and the husband was punched in the head. The victims live in the area.
Police said that the victims may have been targeted because the man was wearing a yarmulke. So far, no arrests have been made.
