(Scroll down for video) Ralph Lauren has now combined their stylish shirts with technology.
The new Polo Tech Smart Shirt, is able to track your heart rate, the calories you’ve burned and your stress levels.
The shirt will be making its debut on the tennis court at this year’s U.S. Open, and is expected to go on sale in the spring of 2015.
A silver-coated thread, which was woven into the shirt, was combined with sensors that will allow you to collect data during a workout or anytime you like.
The sensors are placed inside a small black box that is embedded discreetly in the shirt. This box can be removed from the shirt so that it can be washed with other clothes.
The black box will need to be recharged. However, it can last for about 30 workouts without running out of power.
The shirt is not only for sports. Ralph Lauren said that this unique shirt can detect when you’re nervous and when you are calm.
