Police officer arrested after being seen on video shoplifting from store for the second time

(Scroll down for video) A police department in Kentucky, was forced to arrest one of their own.

The officer of the Louisville Metropolitan Police, is facing charges after being accused of shoplifting.

44-year-old Larry Wagner, was accused of shoplifting at the Cabella’s hunting, an outdoor equipment store.

Workers at the store said that this was the second time the officer walked out with merchandise without paying, and they have the surveillance video to prove it.

Wagner was allegedly seen removing the merchandise from their packages and hid them. He then left without paying on two separate occasions.

Wagner was arrested and is facing two charges for unlawful taking under $500.

Sgt. Phil Russell of the Louisville Metro Police Department, reviewed the security videos, which showed the 22 year veteran officer taking items without paying for them.
