A man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after people saw him bathing in mayonnaise and using water from a park water fountain, police in Oklahoma said.
The Oklahoma City Police Department said that they received complaints from passersby about the man who washed his body at the Reno and Mickey Mantle park area.
Officers who arrived at the scene, saw 23-year-old Jorge Arturo Perez, soaked and gasping for air in the water fountain. Perez told police that he was taking a bath in the water fountain and washed his hair with mayonnaise.
The police officers told him that a city ordinance prohibits people from bathing in the water fountains and water canals.
When he refused to leave, police arrested Perez, and he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of violating the ordinance.
