Israeli universities were listed among the world’s best colleges.

QS World University Rankings, considered one of the most influential surveys of its kind, took into account a wide range of subjects offered by 3,000 institutions worldwide.

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, widely regarded as the best in the country, came in at number 138, followed by the Technion of Haifa at 190.

The Tel Aviv University came in at 195. The newcomer that broke into the list for the first time in its history, was the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev at 292.

MIT topped the list for the third straight year, while Cambridge University took second place, which was occupied by Harvard last year.

Students graduating from Oxford and Cambridge were the most successful in finding employment. The survey looked at 800 universities worldwide.
