A Monsey yeshiva student who was on his way home from school, was attacked by paintballs, police in New York said.
The Ramapo Police Department said that two teens were arrested after they were accused of shooting the paintballs at passing vehicles and pedestrians.
The incident unfolded just after 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday night. Police officers who arrived at the scene, recovered the paintball gun used in the attack.
The 15-year-old yeshiva student, who was walking near Vincent Road, was not injured. One suspect was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal tampering.
The second suspect was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. The suspects were not identified due to their age.
They were processed at the police station and released to the custody of their parents.
