(Scroll down for video) If you work at United Airlines, you can quit and receive $100,000.
United Airlines said that it will offer the flight attendants up to $100,000 in compensation if they leave the company.
The lump sum payments will be offered in order of seniority of some 23,000 United Airlines flight attendants. United Airlines and The Association of Flight Attendants, announced the deal on Monday.
United Airlines said that it has too many flight attendants on its payroll.
United Airlines, a unit of United Continental Holdings Inc., hopes that at least 2,100 of its 23,000 flight attendants accept the offer.
Many companies use buyouts to entice employees to quit voluntarily.
