A man was arrested on charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure after allegedly shooting into his neighbor’s home, police in Pennsylvania said.
The Philadelphia Police Department said that 31-year-old George Byrd IV of Penndel, admitted to a judge that he fired the weapon in order to unload it.
Byrd fired the gun early Friday afternoon into the home located on the 400 block of Adams Avenue. Luckily, no one was injured.
While searching his home, police found several rounds of ammunition in the basement.
Police also found a .357 revolver, 12 gauge double barrel shotgun and a long M77 rifle.
Byrd of the 400 block of Jefferson Avenue, was charged with shooting a gun into an occupied dwelling and was booked into the Bucks County jail.
He is being held on $20,000 bond.
