The woman of Massachusetts, is facing charges after she admitted assaulting her neighbor, who had returned home after being arrested on child pornography charges.

According to the police report, Nicole Pelletier, 42, entered the apartment of Dr. Gary Spring, through an unlocked door.

Spring, 61, a former professor at Merrimack College, was recently fired after being arrested for possessing child pornography.

He was released from federal custody on Monday, after posting $30,000. That is when his neighbor decided to carry out street justice and beat him.

Spring told police that Pelletier came into his room while he was in bed and punched him in the face. Spring lives in the apartment directly below Pelletier, who has two children, a 13-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy.

Pelletier called police after she assaulted the man. When officers arrived they found the suspect “crying and visibly upset” with blood on her arm and hands.

Danvers Police said that Pelletier admitted to hitting Spring. Pelletier, who is a Navy veteran and clinical social worker, was charged with assault and battery and burglary.
