Female property manager bitten by tenant’s large snake during inspection of apartment in Flatbush

A female property manager of Flatbush, was bitten by her tenant’s large snake during an inspection of an apartment, police in New York said.

Brooklyn Police said that the incident unfolded on Monday morning, when the woman called police to report that she was bitten by the tenant’s pet snake.

According to the police investigation, the victim was inspecting the home located on Flatbush Avenue about 9:30 a.m., when the snake attacked her.

Witnesses at the scene told rescue workers that the woman was an inspector working for the management company of the building, and she was making her rounds when she was bitten by the four foot long snake.

Rescuers said that the woman was bitten on her leg. The woman was taken by ambulance to New York Community Hospital.

She was said to be in stable condition.
