(Scroll down for video) A teen was caught using a large stuffed animal to gain access to an HOV lane on a busy highway, police in Washington said.
A Washington State Trooper stopped the 19-year-old woman for speeding on Monday morning.
The officer said that he expected to let her go with a speeding ticket, but when she rolled down the tinted windows of her Volkswagen Jetta, he discovered that the stuffed bear was sitting in the passenger seat.
The woman told the officer that she had no room in the back seat of the vehicle so she placed the bear in the front. The woman was driving in the carpool lane, which requires two passengers.
The driver was recorded going 74 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour zone. She was issued a ticket for speeding and driving in the carpool lane illegally.
In total, the tickets amounted to $818.
