Police in Texas, were called after a family dispute turned violent.
Galveston County Sheriff’s deputies responded to three calls at 4701 Georgia, regarding a family feud over a water well.
At the home, police arrested Jeffery Paul Cisneros, 35, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and Neil Wayne Braddock, 44, was charged with deadly conduct. Both men live in Santa Fe.
The Sheriff’s deputy responded to the initial disturbance call and left the scene. Another disturbance occurred later, when the fight escalated between the parties.
During the disturbance, it was reported that Braddock had assaulted Cisneros’ mother, who was visiting. It led Cisneros to strike Braddock in the arm with a sword, cutting him.
Braddock responded by getting a .22 caliber rifle from his home and firing a shot into Cisneros’ home. The bullet traveled through the residence and struck the neighbor’s home.
Both men were arrested. Cisneros bail was set at $40,000. Braddock’s bail was set at $25,000.
