(Scroll down for video) A mother was reported missing after she failed to arrive at her daughter’s school.

The mother of Kentucky, was reported missing when she failed to pick up her daughter from school on Friday.

Her concerned family and friends posted fliers, and were desperately looking for her. Aundrea Stone, 44, of Louisville, was last seen shopping at Jay’s Food Mart in Okolona, but she seemed to have vanished without a trace.

Three days later, several women who were on the way to pick up their children from school, heard noises coming from a car, but did not think much about it and continued walking.

However, when they returned and still heard banging from the car, they went to check it out.

One of the women threw a brick through the front window and popped the trunk. She found Stone alive in the trunk of her daughter’s car.

The woman had a broken elbow and other minor injuries, but is expected to make a full recovery.

Stone does not remember what took place before she was locked inside the trunk of her daughter’s car, which she was driving at the time.

She told police that after shopping, she went back to her car and found a man inside her car. The man forced her to drive around Kentucky and Indiana for a few days, before she was left in the trunk of the car.
