(Scroll down for video) A mother was arrested for allowing her daughter to sell drugs.

The mother drove her to meet clients, and the child handed over the drugs and counted the cash.

The mother, Silvia Tijerina, 41, of Texas, was arrested after undercover surveillance video reportedly showed her daughter selling cocaine.

The video was recorded during an undercover drug sting operation. “It is unimaginable that a mother could place a child in this situation,” said Cpt. Brian Cantrell of the Waller County Sheriff’s Office. “It’s almost as if the mother is training her child to be a drug dealer,” he added.

Cantrell said that the girl not only gave over the drugs and took the money, but she also checked the money to make sure it was not counterfeit.

Tijerina has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and child endangerment. She’s being held in the Waller County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Tijerina has four children. Three of them are with their biological father. The girl in the video was placed with a family member.
