A church vicar was sentenced to jail after he admitted to asking a girl to rape her younger sister.
Reverend James Ogley, who is a married man with two young children, used the Internet to chat with young teens.
Ogley pretended to be a young teenager. In one Internet chat room he claimed that he was a 14-year-old boy living in Ireland.
Police were tipped off to the clergyman’s communications, went to his home in Luton, Bedfordshire, and seized his laptop computer from his study.
Police found that Ogley asked a 13-year-old girl to sexually assault her 9-year-old sister, during a series of online chats.
According to police, Ogley also told the teenager that he wanted her and her sister to have sex with their own mother.
The 38-year-old father, who served as the vicar of Saint Francis Church in Luton, pleaded guilty to seven charges of publishing obscene material in chat rooms.
Ogley was sentenced to serve two years in prison after pleading guilty to the charges. He was also fired from his job at the church.
