A security guard was taken to a hospital after he was run over by two female shoplifters.

The two women are accused of shoplifting from a department store in a Texas mall.

The two ran away when the guard attempted to stop them.

The women are now facing felony charges after hitting the security guard with their car in an attempt to get away with the stolen merchandise worth $289.

Police identified the suspects as Tyronnisha Marie Johnson, 21, and Bria Dominique Brock, 20. They were charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Houston Police said that a loss prevention employee saw the two women stealing merchandise at Macy’s in the Greenspoint Mall.

Two security guards went to the parking lot to stop the women, but Johnson sped towards the guards and hit one of them, forcing him onto the hood of the vehicle.

Johnson is accused of swerving back and forth in an attempt to throw him from the vehicle. When the vehicle finally stopped, Johnson allegedly hit him again with the vehicle in an attempt to get him out of the way.

The guard broke the driver’s side window with his fist, before the women fled the scene. The security guard was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries.

A Macy’s employee, identified Brock as a former DeKaney High School classmate.

Johnson and Brock were held on $30,000 bond each.
