The New York police officer was arrested and was badly injured after his colleagues were called to a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to the domestic violence of a physical fight between a man and a woman in an apartment around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday.
When they arrived, the two occupants refused to come to the door and the officers had to force the door open.

Stone was charged with felony assault, misdemeanor obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, and menacing.
Stone was released from the city jail after paying $5,000 bail. He was also suspended 30 days without pay pending an internal investigation.
