A woman in New York, called police to report a bomb inside a school.
When police arrived, they found that it was a misunderstanding between a husband and his loving wife.
The incident began when the teacher has asked his wife to call in a bomb threat to save him from going to the teachers meeting.
The teacher, named Eric, attended the morning meeting at the Renaissance Charter High School in East Harlem, when he became bored and texted his wife.
In the message, he jokingly asked her to call in a bomb threat to escape the monotonous gathering in which teachers go through the day’s activities.
He wrote: “Call in a bomb threat.” However, he immediately sent his wife another text that read “haha” according to the New York Police Department.
The woman who only read the first text message, contacted the police, informing them that there had been a bomb at the school.
After hanging up, she suddenly realized that her husband sent another message ‘”haha.” She called back and informed the officers that it had been a joke – but it was too late.
Eight uniformed officers showed up at the school, which is located at 410 East 100th Street. The officers interviewed Eric, before leaving school without conducting a search or making an arrest.
