(Scroll down for video) A man was horrified to find pink women’s underpants on his body after he woke up from general anesthesia, according to court documents filed in Delaware.

32-year-old Andrew Walls of Dover, underwent a colonoscopy before realizing that he was wearing the pink underpants.

Walls was extremely distraught, and this month, he filed a civil suit in the New Castle County Superior Court against the medical center for damages of intentionally inflicting emotional distress.

Walls was employed at the center at the time of the incident. The lawsuit identified the center as Eden Hill Surgical Group of Dover.

Walls alleges that as a result of severe emotional stress, he suffered mental anguish, lost wages and loss of earnings capacity.

Walls did not reveal why someone would place pink underwear on him beyond saying that the intent was to embarrass or harass him.
